Purpose:
To outline the conditions under which refunds may be issued to students or parents and to ensure transparency and fairness in the process.
Scope:
This policy applies to all students enrolled in institutions under the aegis of Samastha Kerala Islamatha Vidyabyasa Board (SKIVB) coordinated by ASMI.
Policy Statement:
- Application Fees:
- Application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Tuition Fees:
- Before Commencement of Classes:
- Full refund of tuition fees if withdrawal is requested before the commencement of the academic term.
- After Commencement of Classes:
- Partial refunds may be considered based on the duration the student has attended classes.
- Refunds will be processed as follows:
- Within the first month: 75% refund
- Within the second month: 50% refund
- Special Circumstances:
- Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, family emergencies, or other situations beyond the control of the student or parents.
- Procedure for Requesting Refund:
- A written request for refund must be submitted to the school administration.
- The request must include the reason for withdrawal and any supporting documentation.
- The administration will review the request and respond within 30 days.
